The Dandy Warhols - Everyday Should Be A Holiday (Shoegazer's Club Remix) 12"

The Dandy Warhols, one of my favorite bands to come out of USA. With their looks, their style and their sound, this is one of the american bands you would have thought were British. I'd love how this guitar oriented band have incorporated synthesizer to their music which gave me the idea to remix one of my favorite songs from them, Everyday Should Be A Holiday. Solid basslines and guitar riffs, it would be a crime not to extend and bring this song to the dancefloor. For some of you who are still quite unfamiliar about the band I recommend getting this 2004 indie film Dig! Its about The Dandy Warhols and The Brian Jonestown Massacre captured in their most candid moments.

Naive - Batman (Shoegazer's Extended Mix) 12"

The rarest of them all. This is the 12" of Batman, the best song by Naive. Who would have thought this song has a 12"? I always knew Naive released just one single from their Fish? album entitled Carry On.

Pains Of Being Pure At Heart - Belong 7"

A girl vocal indie pop band from the big apple. This 7" is their recent release from Slumberland Records, a label who have released numerous quality indie pop singles from Boyracer, 14 Iced Bears, Lilys and Liechtenstein to mention a few.

Fauna - Pretty 7"

This one is an experimental 49 cents 7" and amazingly they sounded like Moose. Very few bands sounds like old school shoegazers that's why this record really caught my attention. The guy who probably sold the Singapore Sling must have sold this one too as both records have similar style although completely different in terms of creativity. By the way I will be gradually transferring my blog site to a different domain. The content would not be music specific but will cater my interests in general. I have posted some pictures from my droid and written some short journals already. Here's the link: http://shoegazerblog.wordpress.com/. Comments are highly appreciated!
