Weather Theatre - Bridge To Heaven 7"

I was bike cruising on a perfect sunny afternoon when little to my expectation I would stumble upon on this one of the hardest to find I must say 7" at one of the shops in Ventura Boulevard. Weather Theatre (not to be mistaken with the 90s German band) is the name. A highly sought-after record in the blogsphere, few of the bloggers have been asking me if I own any material by them including Northern Picture Library (name of the blogger, not the band). The sound is very post-punk, similar to The Chameleons UK, The Church, Japan and Joy Division. The voice is so deep, a true trademark of 80s new wave. I've googled the name to see if something will come up and as expected no information about this obscure band. Based on the record sleeve the band comprises of Eric Burnham on guitar, John Massoni on voice, David Thierry on drums and Liz Wick on bass guitar. It was release by A Sun And Steel Production in 1988. Prepare to be amazed and hear it for yourself, make sure to add this on your want list!

  11. I don't know where you can find any of our recordings anymore, but I was going to comment on the "German band" thing - I think that was still us, our album Dusk was released on a German label called Angry Fish music. Thanks for the post, it's awesome to read things like this so many years later.
