Delta - Gun 7"

Neo-Psychedelic, heavily influenced by the sixties is what this band is about. Sorry no info about this group whatsover, the last time I googled Delta the electronic German band came out on the search result. Released by Dishy record in 1994, most likely this is just a low budget, mom-and-pop label from Bristol. The vocal is rather eclectic because of the effect of some sort while the guitar is transcendental. If you love sixties guitar riffs like Oasis or Spitfire then this record is definitely for you!

Blind Mr. Jones - Eyes Wide EP

Hailed from the city of Marlow in England, this short-lived shoegaze band were one of the pioneers of the shoegaze movement in the early nineties. Although unknown to many, fans of this genre can attest to the importance of their contribution. Please do check out this EP and if it entices you I recommend getting their full album Stereo Musicale. Neil Halstead of Slowdive wrote some of the guitar parts on the cut Eyes Wide.

Sweet Jesus - Phonefreak Honey EP

Now that I'm back from a long vacation I'm all charged up and ready to provide you with unfamiliar music leading to a familiar feeling of satisfaction. What a better way to start off the year than with a big bang from this ultra lo-fi, zero-hyped shoegaze band from early nineties - Sweet Jesus.

Its fast-paced guitar driven shoegaze style surely is not bad for a 50 cent record from Amoeba!
